Supv-$350.00-$375.00 8 hr day, $70.00-$75.00 OT each additional hour. Diver-$275.00 8 hr day, $50.00 OT each additional hour. $475.00 12 hr day. Tenders-$175.00 8 hr day, $25.00 OT each additional hour. $275.00 12hr day. (GOM Rates) The dive company your laboring for is taking 50%-75% of your time and effort and keeping it for their profit margin. That in turn goes to paying for insurance annualy not each job and the rest of it goes to the ginzles (salesman, managers, secrataries, lawyers.) For anybody thinking of making diving as a career, consider an office position first (paid holidays, bonuses) riding on the backs of others.
